It is my privilege to welcome you to Forest Lake State School. Our school is a dynamic, inclusive, and caring community where every child is known, valued, and supported to thrive. At Forest Lake State School, our values of being Safe, Respectful, and Learners guide everything we do. These values shape our expectations, strengthen our relationships, and create a positive culture where all students feel secure, confident, and ready to engage in their learning. A strong focus on wellbeing underpins our approach. We understand that when students feel a sense of belonging, connection, and purpose, they can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated teachers and support staff work collectively to nurture this sense of belonging, so every child feels they have a place here.
Guided by our vision that “Learning knows no boundaries," we deliver engaging, future-focused programs from Prep to Year 6. Our commitment is to inspire curiosity, celebrate growth, and equip every learner with the skills they need for the world ahead.
In addition to our core programs, we are proud to offer innovative initiatives that reflect our commitment to holistic education. Our nature play program provides students with opportunities to connect with the natural environment, fostering creativity, resilience, and a sense of wonder. Through outdoor learning experiences, students develop problem-solving skills, collaboration, and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.
We also place a strong emphasis on student agency, empowering our learners to take ownership of their education. By encouraging students to set goals, make decisions, and reflect on their progress, we nurture confident, independent thinkers who are prepared to navigate the challenges of the future.
We are excited to announce that Forest Lake State School is now welcoming enrolments through Education Queensland International (EQI). This initiative allows us to share our vibrant and inclusive school community with students from around the globe, enriching our cultural diversity and providing unique opportunities for all students to learn from one another.
