Our school community is important to us.
At Forest Lake State School we recognise the important role that our school community plays in making our school a special place to be. A strong partnership between the school, the home and the community is integral toward creating a quality learning environment. We encourage parents to work with us as partners in their child's education. Teachers provide information on class routines and curriculum offerings through the Class Newsletters found on our Curriculum link. Please contact your child's teacher if you would like to volunteer as a classroom helper. There are many jobs which can be undertaken in a regular, once off, at school or take home format. Ask our friendly staff who will point you in the right direction.
It is necessary for all volunteers to sign the Volunteer Register held at the school office / prep school / resource centre before performing any tasks.
Our school has a committed P & C, dedicated to fund raising and providing input into decision making across a number of school matters. Detailed information about our P & C can be found in this section.
