At Forest Lake State School, we recognise the vital role our school community plays in making our school a special place to be. A strong partnership between the school, the home, and the community is essential for creating a quality learning environment. We encourage parents to work with us as partners in their child's education.
If you would like to volunteer as a classroom helper, please contact your child's teacher. There are many opportunities to assist, whether on a regular basis, as a one-off, at school, or through take-home tasks. Our friendly staff are happy to guide you in the right direction. Please note that all volunteers must hold a valid Blue Card and sign the Volunteer Register, which is available at the school office, before performing any tasks.
Our school also has a committed P & C, dedicated to fundraising and providing input into decision-making across a range of school matters. Detailed information about our P & C can be found in this section.
