In Queensland, Prep is the first year of schooling. Children must be 5 by 30 June in the year they start Prep. Prep is a full-time program and children attend from Monday to Friday during normal school hours.![]()

To enrol for Prep in 2025 children must be born between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020.

We are only able to accept students who live inside this catchment zone.
You will be required to bring proof of address when you enrol your child at Forest Lake State School.
