Students at Forest Lake State School have access to a range of ICT and robotics resources. These resources support every day teaching and learning, and provide our students with skills for their future.

BYO IPAD PROGRAM
The initial trial of a ‘Bring Your Own’ iPad Program commenced with Year 1 students in 2013.  This proved very successful, with the expansion of the program in 2019, including all classes from Year 1 to Year 6.  The program focuses on critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication.
CLASSROOM SETS
Sets of  school iPads are permanently assigned for use in classes for students who are not involved in the FLiP program to ensure all students are able to use the devices across a range of curriculum areas.
RESOURCE CENTRE
Students from all year levels have the opportunity to access the 28 iPads based in the Resource Centre as well as access to laptop trolleys within their Flexible Learning program.
ROBOTICS/STEAM RESOURCES
Our Makerspace and STEM Room provides a hub for innovative learning experiences that foster 21st Century Skills.  Students and teachers have access to a range of resources including Blue-bots, Dash, Ozobots, WeDo2.0, EV3s and 3D printers to enhance the curriculum.
