Academy of Dance
Students at Forest Lake State School have the opportunity to extend their dance skills and study CUA10120 Certificate 1 in Dance. Academy of Dance students will receive a Nationally Recognised Qualification that combines academic and practical study. Students will be instructed on foundation dance techniques, introduced to creative arts knowledge and learn the principles required for a safe dance environment. This course can be offered due to our partnership with the Empower Dance.
Academy of Dance students are valuable members of the extra-curricular program. Students will perform at school functions and compete in dance eisteddfods.
