Forest Lake State School P&C was formed in 1992 by parents and citizens
with a desire to develop and guide the direction of the school.
Our P&C is a
not-for-profit organisation who currently operates 3 business services to the
school community which is our Tuckshop, Uniform shop and Outside School Hours
Care. All profits from the business hubs as well as any
P&C fundraising or events go back into the school for improvements, better
facilities, resources and more.
The P&C has been
able to support such projects as:
playgrounds across the school, purchasing technology resources such as iPads,
robots and 3D printers, maintenace projects for the grounds and school hall, air conditioning for the entire
school, undercover eating area outside the tuckshop, artificial turf, music
Equipment, hall audio upgrade & much more….
Our objective is to engage the school community to join
with us in our aim to value add to the school facilities and resources in order
to achieve the best educational outcome for our children and young people.
We are made up of parents and other community members who
volunteer our time to invest into our school. We are always keen for new ideas
and input so come along to one of our meetings and share your thoughts. We want
to help make this school a great experience for our kids and families!
The P & C meet on
the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the P & C building,
Your opinions about
any concerns and interest in the school are encouraged, welcomed and needed.
